In July the first meeting of Sustainable Harwell was held at The Village Hall to discuss what we could do in our area to tackle climate change, reduce pollution and waste and improve the environment. The meeting was very well-attended with over 30 people considering how we could have an impact and make changes as individuals as well as brainstorming ideas about how we could do things together as a community.
A summary of Sustainable Choices is now available which suggests things we can do as individuals to help. It can be downloaded here.
At the next meeting we are going to decide how to take forward some of the many ideas people suggested for acting together as a community. The meeting is open to anyone and if you would like to come along and join in you are very welcome. It will be held at 7:30 pm at the Cherry Hall on Weds 2nd Oct.
