Phase 3 of the Holloway Hedgerow project to plant another 120m along this ancient village bridleway is nearly upon us. This time we have decided to plant the young whips before Xmas in order to give them as much time as possible to root in and establish, particularly if the current drought continues to haunt us in the growing season next year.
We have again been fortunate to obtain more whips from CPRE Hedgerow Heroes via their partner Wildlife Oxfordshire A big thanks to them for their ongoing support for this village project. We are hopeful that as many volunteers as possible will help out on the 5th, many hands make light work!
